The Verdure Lotus Grandeur is the 5-star ship of the Verdure Lotus fleet, and it sails the heart of Ha Long Bay. With only 22 cabins on board, it never feels crowded. The restaurant, the sundeck and the bar all face the water.
Every cabin has its own balcony and a bathtub, so you can watch the limestone islands go by from your room.

Pickup in Hanoi’s Old Quarter
We pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter and drive to Ha Long Bay, if you add a transfer when you book.

Arrive at the Verdure Lotus Grandeur lounge. Freshen up after the drive from Hanoi while you wait to board.
Board, welcome drink & briefing
A tender takes you out to the ship to check in. The Cruise Manager goes through the itinerary and the safety briefing over a welcome drink.
Buffet lunch as the ship sails
Lunch is a buffet, served as the ship cruises southeast past Fighting Cock Islet and Finger Islet.
Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat
A boat takes the group to Luon Cave. Paddle through it by kayak, or sit back in a bamboo boat (optional).
Kayak includedTi Top Island: the view, then a swim
Climb to the top of Ti Top Island for a panoramic view of the bay. Afterwards, swim in the emerald water or relax in the shade with a coconut.
Sunset party & happy hour
Back on board, the sunset party starts, with happy hour at the bar.
Vietnamese cooking class
Join a cooking class on deck, led by an experienced chef. If the weather is bad, it moves into the restaurant.
Dinner under the stars
A set-menu dinner prepared by the chef, with the bay dark and the sky full of stars.
Karaoke, the bar or squid fishing
Sing karaoke, have a drink at the bar, or borrow squid-fishing gear from reception for free.
Overnight on the bay
The ship anchors for the night among the islands.

Tai Chi at sunrise
Start the day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck as the sun comes up over Ha Long Bay.
Light breakfast
A light breakfast is served in the restaurant.
Sung Sot Cave
Sung Sot is one of the largest caves in Ha Long Bay, full of stalactites and stalagmites shaped over millions of years. When you come out of the cave, there is a panoramic view across the bay.
Settle up & check out
Back on board, settle any bills and check out while the ship heads back towards Tuan Chau Island.
Brunch on the way back
Brunch is served in the restaurant as the ship sails back to the harbour.
Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina
Step ashore at Tuan Chau Marina and head back to Hanoi.
With a transfer
The programme may change with the weather, tides and operating conditions, without prior notice. Swimming or kayaking may be cancelled in poor weather.

Getting there
From your Hanoi hotel to the pier
The drive from Hanoi to Ha Long takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. A private car picks you up at your hotel between 08:00 and 08:30, and you can add it when you book.

The whole car is yours, with a driver who messages you on WhatsApp. Pickup in the Old Quarter or anywhere in central Hanoi; Noi Bai Airport adds 300.000VNĐ per car, each way.

Questions we get most often
Deluxe (1st floor) and Executive (2nd floor) are both 35 m² with a balcony and bathtub, and Executive sits higher for a better view. Royal cabins are 55 m². Families usually take the Triple or Family Suite.
Add a private car in the booking form. Pickup from your Hanoi hotel is between 08:00 and 08:30, and you reach the check-in lounge at around 11:30. On day 2 you are back ashore at Tuan Chau at about 11:00.
The Cruise Manager adjusts the route and timings to the weather, tides and operating conditions, sometimes without notice. Swimming or kayaking may be cancelled for safety. If anything changes before you travel, we tell you on WhatsApp.
One child aged 0–4 sharing the parents’ bed is free, and a second pays 75%. Children aged 5–10 pay 75% sharing the bed, or 85% with an extra bed. From age 11 it is the adult rate.
Nothing is paid when you request a cabin. Once Philip confirms, pay a 50% deposit or the full amount by Moreta Pay QR. The balance is due 3 days before you sail, online or in cash in Hanoi. For 1–3 cabins, cancel 7 days or more before departure and the cabin price is refunded in full: see the cancellation policy above.
Mineral water and a welcome drink are included. Other drinks, including happy hour at the bar, are paid on board, and you settle your bill before you check out on day 2.
Yes. For departures on 24 and 31 December it is 850.000VNĐ per guest aged 5 and over. At Lunar New Year and on 30 April, 1 May and 2 September it is 450.000VNĐ. The booking form adds it automatically.
Yes, and it’s free. The signal at sea comes and goes, though, so don’t count on it for video calls.
